A note about my oldest posts: I began blogging about brain cancer in 2008, at age 29. I had no background or knowledge about healthcare when I started. Please excuse typos and other misconceptions. What you read here is me in real time, like a time capsule.
Forgetting I even had cancer, for a day
To top it all off, I forgot my purse at Nugget Market in Davis and went the whole day without emergency seizure medication, extra anti-nausea pills, my medical insurance card, and an ID. It felt like I was in a witness protection program for cancer patients.
