Dental dream

This was my dream last night:

Brett and I traveled to Los Angeles to visit some friends and go to church on Sunday. Usually, when you go to church they have greeters who hand out programs. Instead, we were greeted by my cool dentist, Dr. Jon. We usually visit a Dentist in Seattle but it's always good to get a (free) checkup!

"Hey, Dr. Jon!" we said.

Dr. Jon waved at us but couldn't stop to talk because he was busy giving everyone a free teeth cleaning. Literally, he was flossing the teeth of everyone who walked in the door. Brett and I stood by watching. I was impressed that my dentist donated his time and expertise to make sure the parishioners ' teeth were in good shape. I'm sure any great Dentist Lancaster will tell you that the best in their field will extend their services beyond normal work hours, but I was still quite surprised by the desire.

I didn't stand in line to have my teeth flossed because I always floss my teeth and I know I do a good job because Dr. Jon told me so at my last exam.

I looked up some of the symbolism of my dream online and this is what I found:

  • To dream that you are in a church suggests that you are seeking for some spiritual enlightenment and guidance. You are looking to be uplifted in some way. Perhaps you have made some mistakes in the past which have set you back on your path toward your goals. With proper support, you will get on the right track again. Alternatively, it may also mean that you are questioning and debating your life path and where it is leading. You are reevaluating what you want to do. -- Perhaps this has to do with my pursuit to return to the working world.

  • To dream that the dentist is working on someone else's teeth signifies that you will be shocked by scandal near you. -- Um, like the way most of the health care community works? People denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions?
